While things did not work out for former Bears GM Ryan Pace in Chicago, it sounds like his career is heading the right direction in Atlanta. According to a report by CBS Sports' Jonathan Jones, Pace is now the Falcons director of player personnel.

This is the exact same position Pace held in New Orleans before the Bears hired him in 2015. Pace was hired by the Falcons as a senior personnel executive in 2022 after the Bears fired him. In Atlanta Pace joined other previous Bears GM Phil Emery who retired this year.

Pace has helped bring former Bears Germain Ifedi, Nick Kwiatkoski, and Elijah Wilkinson to the Falcons. The Falcons have a shot to compete in the NFC South this year.

Pace made a few big moves in Chicago including getting Khalil Mack. But he will always be remembered by Bears fans for trading up to pick Mitch Trubisky and bypassing both Mahomes and Watson who have both gone on to have far more success in the NFL.
