Following their Week 2 loss to the Rams, the Falcons have shaken up their roster, signing Abdullah Anderson back to the 53-man after he was elevated from the practice squad before Sunday’s matchup in LA.

The team announced the move after his impressive outing yesterday. Anderson only played 11 defensive snaps but recorded a tackle for loss and was the highest graded Falcons defender from Week 2, according to Pro Football Focus.

Abdullah Anderson has had quite the ride of a career thus far. He initially made the Falcons roster but was cut before the team’s season opener against the Saints. He’s been with Atlanta since early August but has bounced back and forth from the active roster, practice squad, and even briefly released, as I mentioned before. Anderson is set to be a rotational piece along the defensive line, which is an area the Falcons are extremely thin, so help is always welcomed.
