Nick Chubb Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

Adam Schefter nearly gave fans a heart attack with the post he shared about Nick Chubb via X on Monday night.

Chubb was carted off the field after suffering a horrific leg injury in the second quarter of the Cleveland Browns’ game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

As fans were trying to process what happened to Chubb, Schefter sent a post saying that Chubb had “dislocated his left knee and tore his MCL, PCL, and LCL with cartilage damage.” Oh, by the way, that all happened to Chubb in 2015.

“Nick Chubb dislocated his left knee and tore his MCL, PCL, and LCL with cartilage damage on October 10, 2015 vs. Tennessee. He injured the same knee tonight vs. Pittsburgh,” Schefter said in his post.

The way Schefter presented the information — with the details of the injury first, and when it all took place second — made fans ride a roller coaster of emotions.

Browns fans are just hoping that the actual extent of Chubb’s leg injury isn't as bad as what happened in 2015. In that 2015 game, Chubb’s left leg bent in a similar manner.
