Fantasy futures: Where to draft your favorite New York Giants
The New York Giants didn’t offer much to fantasy managers last year, but things are looking up for 2024. Here’s where you'll find Big Blue in future fantasy drafts.
QB Daniel Jones
No quarterback may have more to prove next season. Jones signed a four-year, $160M contract in 2023 and carries a $47.8M cap hit in 2024. If he plays poorly, the team can save $30M in 2025 with a trade or release.
A neck injury and torn ACL held him to six games last season, but in 2022, Jones finished ninth among quarterbacks in fantasy football.
His 708 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground certainly helped and without running back Saquon Barkley, he could have more opportunities to run the ball.
If so, Jones is poised to break his career-high mark of 472 attempts next season. He’s currently going undrafted but could pay dividends in deeper drafts.
WR Malik Nabers
The Giants haven’t had a fantasy-relevant wide receiver since Odell Beckham Jr. left the team in 2019. That should change once Nabers hits the field.
The former LSU Tiger had 189 catches for 3,003 yards and 21 touchdowns in three years with the team. He earned first-team All-SEC honors in 2023 while averaging 17.6 yards per catch with 14 touchdowns.
Darius Slayton led the Giants with 770 yards last season, which means Nabers should step right in as the team’s No. 1 receiver. He was the 24th wide receiver taken in a recent mock draft among ESPN analysts and lasted nearly to the end of the fifth round.
RB Devin Singletary
Singletary ranked 32nd among fantasy running backs after fighting to supplant Dameon Pierce as the Texans' lead back in 2023. He’ll get more runway without Barkley but should be considered an RB2 at best. He went in the 10th round of ESPN’s draft as the 33rd running back taken.
K Graham Gano
You won’t find Gano on many draft boards after an erratic, injury-plagued performance in 2023. The 37-year-old kicker missed 35 percent of his field goals before going on injured reserve with a season-ending knee injury in November.
The team signed Rutgers kicker Jude McAtamney as an undrafted free agent after watching him set a school record with 40 touchbacks on kickoffs. He’ll compete with Gano but don’t expect to see his name on a sticker on draft night.

New York’s defense scored the 14th-most fantasy points in 2023 but next season could be a different story. The addition of Pro Bowl edge-rusher Brian Burns should help but may not make up for the loss of safety Xavier McKinney or the potential loss of cornerback Adoree' Jackson. So far, mock drafters are staying away and you should, too.
