The second edition of the College Football Playoff rankings have been released, and the Florida State Seminoles are the No. 4 team in the nation for the second week in a row. They came into the season with title hopes both in the ACC and nationally, and they've executed that plan through ten weeks of play and have a crucial stretch of games coming up.

As things currently stand, the Seminoles would be the last to make the four-team playoff format. They'd face the Ohio State Buckeyes in the first round of the playoffs and a chance at a National Championship appearance if everything ended today.

With the College Football Playoff rankings being released weekly now and the college football regular season in the home stretch, breaking down the rankings and releasing personalized rankings is a popular thing to do.

David Pollack, a former host of ESPN's College Gameday, released his top four rankings. He leads with Florida State for the second week in a row, with Georgia No. 2, Ohio State No. 3, and Washington being the last team in the playoffs.

Though Pollack left the Seminoles atop his rankings, he wasn't impressed with the team this past week and could eventually knock them down a spot or two.

"Listen, Florida State escaped this week. [I'm] not impressed," Pollack said in a video he released. "One thing we've got to look at, Alabama now beating LSU, is that the most impressive win for Florida State? I'll keep them at one for this week."

Still, it's impressive to see the Seminoles receive so much love despite being ranked as high as No. 3 on the season and consistently finding themselves ranked right at or around No. 4 in both the AP Poll and College Football Playoff rankings.

For Florida State, getting a playoff bid seems to be in the hands of whether or not they win out, and there's a good chance the Seminoles are playing some fun postseason football after their ACC Championship appearance, which has already been secured.
