Deonte Harty (formerly Harris) was a pivotal piece to the New Orleans Saints a few seasons ago. He was a top-flight punt returner, but the Saints moved on from him at the end of his deal. Harty totaled 150 receiving yards for the Buffalo Bills in 2023.

Harty teased a potential return to the Saints on social media recently.

Harty is an impressive special teams player that can also make dynamic plays with limited touches on offense.

His most impressive pro season came with New Orleans in 2021. Harty totaled 570 receiving yards and 3 receiving TDs during that season. 2019 was his most impressive special teams campaign for the Saints.

The Saints do need more depth at WR. That being said, Rashid Shaheed is there returned, and no one in the NFC does it better than he does. He will keep that role, regardless of a Harty return.

We will see if Harty works out a deal to come back to New Orleans.
