Former Pro Bowl WR calls Dolphins 'scariest team in NFL'

While many would give the Kansas City Chiefs or the Philadelphia Eagles the designation as the NFL’s top team, one former Super Bowl champion is arguing that title actually belongs to the Miami Dolphins.

On a recent episode of NFL Gameday Morning, two-time Pro Bowl receiver Emmanuel Sanders stated his belief that the 7-3 Dolphins are the scariest team in the league.

“I love the Miami Dolphins and the way they are playing,” Sanders recently said on NFL Gameday Morning. “To me, right now, they are the best team, the scariest team [in the NFL].”

Sanders may have a solid argument.

Miami ranks third in total offense (391.5 yards per game), second in passing offense (293.8 yards per game), and sixth in scoring offense (25.2 points per game).

Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa leads the NFL in passer rating (118.4), and he ranks second in completion percentage (71) and fifth in both passing yards per game (283.1) and touchdown passes (18).

Receiver Tyreek Hill leads the league in receiving yards (1,148) while Jaylen Waddle ranks fifth (878). Hill also ranks first in receptions (81) and second in targets (106), and Waddle is tied for the sixth-most touchdown receptions (6).
