The New York Giants are leaving four players behind in New Jersey for various reasons.

Three players being left behind are due of injuries. They include offensive tackle Evan Neal (ankle), cornerback Adoree' Jackson (concussion/neck), and running back Deon Jackson (hamstring).

The expectation is that at least one of those three--Neal, who was spotted in the locker room in a boot and with a crutch, being the most likely--will land on injured reserve by the 4 p.m. roster deadline to create a spot for either quarterback Matt Barkley from the practice squad or outside linebacker Azeez Ojulari, who was designated to return from IR this week.

For Adoree' Jackson, besides being in the league's protocol, this is his second stint in the last four weeks with a neck issue. He would likely be a candidate for IR, along with Neal.

The Giants also announced that offensive lineman Mark Glowinski (not injury-related) has been downgraded from questionable to out. Glowinski has been excused this week by head coach Brian Daboll to tend to a personal matter. Out of respect for Glowinski, Daboll didn't disclose the issue, but the offensive lineman is getting as much time as he needs to tend to it.

The Giants have until 4 p.m. ET to finalize their roster for Sunday's game against the Cowboys.
