The Carolina Panthers are in desperate need of adding pass rushers after trading away Brian Burns and Frankie Luvu and Yetur Gross-Matos departing via free agency. 

Former Minnesota Viking defensive end/outside linebacker D.J. Wonnum is one player that's on Carolina's radar. According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, Wonnum will be in Charlotte today for a visit and will follow that up with a trip to Chicago.

Wonnum is coming off the best season of his four-year career, tallying 62 tackles, 15 QB hits, eight sacks, seven tackles for loss, six passes defended, and one fumble recovery. For his career, he's notched 23 sacks and 49 QB hits.
