Decorated receiver DeSean Jackson - who last played for the Baltimore Ravens - officially retired as a Philadelphia Eagle two weeks ago. ... or did he?

On Monday, Jackson appeared on the Kay Adams podcast, "Up and Adams," and hinted at a possible return to the NFL.

When discussing the Kansas City Chiefs' current offensive woes, Adams posed the question, "Do you think you could help this offense? Would you want to?" Jackson replied quickly, "Is your shirt white? Is the sweater that you have on white?"

Jackson also indicated he keeps regular contact with Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, his former coach in Philadelphia.

A second-round pick out of Cal in 2008, Jackson will most be remembered for his two stints with the Philadelphia Eagles.

In parts of eight seasons with the Eagles, Jackson caught 379 passes for 6,512 yards and 35 touchdowns. He also had stints with the Washington franchise, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Los Angeles Rams, Las Vegas Raiders and the Baltimore Ravens.

The Los Angeles native joined the Ravens for the 2022 season after a one-year stint with the Las Vegas Raiders. While in Baltimore, Jackson registered nine catches on 17 targets for 153 yards in seven games played.

Jackson probably won't end up in the Hall of Fame, but he's one of the best deep threats that the NFL has ever seen. In total, Jackson will finish his career with 641 catches for 11,263 receiving yards and 17.6 average yards per reception - good enough for 37th on the NFL all-time receiving yards list, sandwiched between the still-active DeAndre Hopkins and Chad Johnson.
