Bengals linebacker Germaine Pratt signed a 3-year contract with the team last week.

The veteran has never been shy about sharing his thoughts on social media. He appeared to endorse one of the top running backs in the 2023 NFL Draft on Tuesday.

"Gibbs is crazy," Pratt tweeted in response to my tweet about Bijan Robinson and Jahmyr Gibbs offering the Bengals better value than their current running back situation.

Cincinnati's starting running back Joe Mixon has a $12.7 million cap hit in 2023. Getting him to take a pay cut or moving on from the former Pro Bowler would save the Bengals money that they could put towards other players, including extensions for Joe Burrow, Tee Higgins and Ja'Marr Chase.

Robinson is considered the top back in this draft class, but Gibbs is an interesting player.

The Bengals met with him at the NFL Combine. Gibbs ran a 4.36 40-yard dash and is one of the most explosive running backs in this year's class.

He compiled 1,672 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns over the past two seasons. He also had 79 receptions for 909 yards and five touchdowns over that span.

If the Bengals want to get more explosive in the backfield, adding Gibbs would make sense.
