The New York Giants have a good shot to make some noise in the first round of the NFL Draft, thanks to the No. 6 pick and a roster in need of some premium playmakers at key positions like wide receiver, and yep, quarterback.

The Giants could take a quarterback, but a receiver is more likely and makes more sense. And even though the Arizona Cardinals and Los Angeles Chargers are in dire need of a playmaking wideout, there's a great chance the latter takes a tackle, leaving the Giants with their choice of one of "The Big Three" in either Malik Nabers Jr. or Rome Odunze (the Cardinals are basically a lock to take Marvin Harrison Jr. at No. 4).

Odunze is a very good prospect, but Nabers Jr. is as explosive as they come. In fact, one of the draft's top experts in ESPN's Todd McShay believes Nabers Jr. has the skills and abilities to become the next Tyreek Hill, in terms of explosiveness.

"I think Malik Nabers could be more explosive and dynamic. I think he's the closest thing to Tyreek Hill, that we've seen a long time coming out of the draft, in terms of that explosiveness," McShay said on the most recent episode of the God Bless Football podcast.

That kind of player in Brian Daboll's system would do wonder for the offense, as a whole. Jalin Hyatt, if he develops, represents the team's deep threat. Having Nabers work underneath Hyatt, and even go deep himself, would stretch defenses at an insane level. Not only would they have to deal with the potential over-the-top threat in Hyatt, but Nabers could take a simple deep dig route and turn it into a 45-yard catch-and-run. If the offensive line can improve and Daniel Jones (or whomever plays QB in 2024) can provide solid play, then the passing attack is going to look night-and-day compared to last year.
