The news follows the recent report that Green Bay will be signing former Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs.

The Packers will be releasing Jones after he’s spent all seven seasons of his NFL career with Green Bay, rushing for 5,940 yards and 45 touchdowns.
