The Green Bay Packers will be parting ways with veteran running back Aaron Jones according to NFL insider Tom Pelissero. Jones was due $12 million in 2024 according to his contract, but will now hit the open market with Pelissero reporting that the franchise will be releasing him.

The news follows the recent report that Green Bay will be signing former Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs.

The Packers will be releasing Jones after he’s spent all seven seasons of his NFL career with Green Bay, rushing for 5,940 yards and 45 touchdowns.

This report will be further updated momentarily
