The Colts are signing Grover Stewart to a three-year, $39 million contract. That's a solid contract for the veteran nose tackle. It also created a floor for what the Bengals will likely have to pay DJ Reader if they want to retain the 29-year-old.
Reader is one of the best defensive linemen left on the market. When healthy, he's a tier above Stewart. He did suffer a torn quad tendon in December, but that hasn't hurt his market too badly.
The Lions, Texans and Browns could be in pursuit of Reader. The Bengals are also in the mix for his services.
