The Houston Texans have a completely different defensive line going into 2024 than they did in 2023, but it's one that's much better, and who says they aren't done yet?

The Texans have added Denico Autry, Danielle Hunter , and possibly one more. But, that means they have lost some guys as well, such as Maliek Collins and now Sheldon Rankins.

According to NFL insider Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2, the Cincinnati Bengals have signed former Texans defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins to a two-year $26 million deal.

Last season Rankins was not the best defensive player on the Texans defensive line, but he did have one hell of a game against the Bengals when they played in Week 10, Rankins had three sacks alone.

Rankins finished the season with six sacks, and half of them were in one game, so it's not like the Texans will be mising his production too much. But, you are glad he is getting paid.
