How the Philadelphia Eagles arrived at Super Bowl LII

The Eagles opened their season with a big road win against Washington. Carson Wentz was an efficient 26-of-39 for 307 yards and two touchdowns, as the Eagles closed out the game with 11 points in the fourth quarter.

One week after beating the Patriots on the road, Kansas City took down Philadelphia. Rookie Kareem Hunt continued to roll with 109 yards from scrimmage and two scores, while Carson Wentz threw for 333 yards and two touchdowns.

Philadelphia emerged in a closely contested matchup against the Giants, as rookie Jake Elliott kicked a 61-yard field goal as time expired. The Eagles had a big day on the ground in a group effort, rushing for 193 yards and two scores.

One week after being the hero, kicker Jake Elliott kicked four more field goals in another win. LeGarrette Blount dominated on the ground with 16 carries for 136 yards.

After two close wins, the Eagles had a much easier time against Arizona. Carson Wentz had a huge game with 304 passing yards and four touchdowns, while Philadelphia held the Cardinals to only 31 rushing yards.

Carson Wentz was terrific in a close Thursday night battle against the Panthers. He threw for 222 yards and three touchdowns, and the Philly defense picked off Cam Newton three times.

Philadelphia got its second win of the year vs. Washington with Carson Wentz throwing four touchdowns for the second time in three games. Zach Ertz had five receptions for 89 yards and one score.

The Eagles' defense battered rookie C.J. Beathard and held San Francisco’s offense to only 238 yards in a big win. Jalen Mills had a pick-six, and Alshon Jeffery had a 53-yard touchdown reception.

The vaunted Denver defense was no match for Philadelphia, as Carson Wentz threw four touchdown passes again. Alshon Jeffery finished the game with six receptions for 84 yards and two touchdowns.

Coming off a bye, Philadelphia embarrassed Dallas at Jerry World. After trailing 9-7 at halftime, the Eagles' offense woke up with two touchdown passes from Carson Wentz and capped off the game with a 37-yard fumble return touchdown from Nigel Bradham.

Philadelphia collected its fourth consecutive win of more than 20 points with a great team performance vs. the Bears. Carson Wentz threw three touchdown passes, and LeGarrette Blount ran for 97 yards. Zach Ertz was also terrific with 10 receptions for 103 yards and one score.

Philadelphia got a rude awakening at Seattle, as Russell Wilson threw three touchdown passes. Nelson Agholor did manage seven receptions for 141 yards and a score, and Carson Wentz threw for 348 yards.

Facing another tough NFC West foe on the road, Philadelphia emerged on the winning end this time. Carson Wentz had one of his best games of the year with 291 passing yards and four passing touchdowns, but he suffered a season-ending knee injury late in the game.

No Carson Wentz, no problem. Backup quarterback Nick Foles threw four touchdowns, and the Eagles survived despite allowing 434 passing yards and three touchdowns from Eli Manning.

Nick Foles didn’t fare nearly as well on Christmas as he did in his first game as the Eagles' starter, but the defense was able to hold up in a game that was tied heading into the fourth quarter. Foles threw for 163 yards, and the defense picked off Derek Carr twice.

Philadelphia lost in an abbreviated game from its starters. Nick Foles was just 4-of-11 before leaving the game for Nate Sudfeld, and a fourth-quarter touchdown pass from Dak Prescott won the game.

Philadelphia’s defense held its ground, and the offense did just enough to beat Atlanta. LeGarrette Blount scored the Eagles' only touchdown, and the defense had a goal-line stand near the end of the game to seal victory.

Nick Foles played the game of his life against the tough Minnesota defense, finishing 26-of-33 for 352 yards and three touchdowns. The Eagles' defense also came up big with two interceptions, including a 50-yard touchdown return by Patrick Robinson.
