The New York Jets held a walkthrough practice without two starters on Wednesday in Florham Park.

Quarterback Zach Wilson and defensive end John Franklin-Myers were non-participants as the Jets prepared for their December 24 home finale against the Washington Commanders.

"Zach is still in the concussion protocol. John Franklin-Myers is dealing with a hip, they won’t practice, everybody else is limited," said third-year head coach Robet Saleh on Wednesday.

Wilson was concussed during the first half of the team's Week 15 road loss to Miami. He exited prior to the Jets' final possession of the second quarter and did not return. The quarterback's inability to practice on Wednesday does not bode well for his availability on Sunday, but Saleh said Wilson will start should he receive clearance prior to kickoff.

"We’ll see. Everything’s improved, so I’m not closing the door on that yet," said Saleh, who announced that Trevor Siemian is next in line if Wilson can't go.

Franklin-Myers was listed as questionable on last week's injury report due to an ankle issue, but, this week, the veteran edge rusher is hampered by a hip problem. He started against Miami but played only 23 percent of the defense's snaps.

Despite being activated off Injured Reserve, and onto the 53-man roster, rehabbing quarterback Aaron Rodgers was also a non-participant along with Wilson and Franklin-Myers.

Offensive tackle Mekhi Becton was one of six Jets listed as limited participants on Wednesday. Being that the practice was a walkthrough, players' statuses are only an estimation of participation. Offensive linemen Carter Warren and Max Mitchell, who both missed the December 17 matchup against Miami, were upgraded to full participants.
