The Philadelphia Eagles are pretty set at quarterback right now.

Not only do the Eagles have Jalen Hurts as their franchise player under center, but they also swung a trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers for Kenny Pickett last month, so they are now also ready to go at backup.

However, Chris Trapasso of CBS Sports is projecting that Philadelphia will add another signal-caller in the NFL Draft this month, predicting Philly will select South Alabama’s Carter Bradley in the final round.

Bradley is not exactly a household name and wasn’t even invited to the Scouting Combine in February, but he is an intriguing prospect for some.

Ian Cummings of Pro Football Network described Bradley as a “gunslinger.”

“Compounding Bradley’s appeal as a pocket operator is his arm strength,” Cummings wrote. “The South Alabama QB has a great arm and can drive velocity to all levels of the field. He stays on schedule in the short and intermediate ranges, and can heft throws past deep coverage when shot opportunities arise.”

Cummings added that Bradley has good pocket presence and that he is a late-round prospect that could end up going undrafted. However, he qualifies his statement by saying that Bradley would have “priority free agent appeal” if that ends up being the case.

Bradley is coming off of a 2023 campaign in which he threw for 2,660 yards, 19 touchdowns and seven interceptions while completing 67.8 percent of his passes.

The 24-year-old began his collegiate career at Toledo and spent four years there before transferring to South Alabama in 2022.

In his first year with the Jaguars, he totaled 3,335 yards, 28 touchdowns and 12 picks while completing 64.7 percent of his throws.
