The Los Angeles Rams had one of the better wide receiver duos in the league this past season. If the team added a solidified receiver three in free agency, their passing game could be even more elite.

One of the more intriguing players that is available in free agency at the wide receiver position is Cincinnati Bengals wideout Tyler Boyd. He is ranked as the ninth-best free agent at the wide receiver position by Pro Football Focus and could be an interesting target for the Rams.

"Boyd is a big slot receiver with solid blocking chops in the run game. He rarely ever drops a target and does well to sit down in soft spots of zones on key passing downs," Said PFF. "However, Boyd posted several career-low marks in 2023, and with so many big financial decisions facing Cincinnati, the Bengals may not be willing to offer him as much as other teams looking to upgrade their unit over the middle."

Despite being the WR3 on his team, he finished with more receiving yards this past season than teammate and fellow free agent, Tee Higgins. This came as a result of Boyd being able to stay on the field due to him being healthy.

Boyd has been one of the most consistent players at his position in the NFL for the past several years and could be an intriguing fit into the already potent Rams' passing offense.

Whether the Rams decide to sign a free-agent wide receiver like Boyd or stick with the players they have like Tutu Atwell, the team's receiving corps should be one of its biggest strengths heading into next season.
