Is it Super Bowl or bust for Ravens in 2023?

After a tumultuous start to their offseason, the Ravens have set themselves up for success in 2023. Would a season that doesn't end with hoisting the Lombardi Trophy be a failure for Baltimore?

It's a tough ask for QB Lamar Jackson, who has never made it past the divisional round of the playoffs, but it's certainly starting to feel that way.

The Ravens made Jackson the highest-paid quarterback in the league after he requested a trade on March 2. Baltimore proceeded to surround the 2019 NFL MVP with the best supporting cast he has had since entering the league in 2018.

The team may have overpaid for WR Odell Beckham Jr., but Jackson reportedly wanted him to be a Raven in order to return. Baltimore then used its first-round pick on Boston College WR Zay Flowers.

The Ravens even brought in a new offensive coordinator in Todd Monken, who was very successful at Georgia. So, there doesn't seem to be any more excuses for Baltimore's offense.

You may be able to make an argument that the Ravens' defense got worse as they lost a few key veterans. However, they are still a young and talented unit, and Baltimore always seems to figure things out on defense.

On top of it all, the Ravens have only the 21st-most difficult schedule in the NFL, according to NFL research.

It all starts with winning the AFC North, which is loaded, but Baltimore has the talent and schedule to win it. It's Super Bowl or bust for the Ravens in 2023.
