Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Brandon McManus has been named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week after a big performance against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 4.

McManus was 3-of-3 on field goals, kicking a 38- and 43-yard field goal while also kicking the longest field goal of any kicker in Week 4 with a 56-yard field goal.

This is the fourth-career Special Teams Player of the Week award for McManus and his first as a Jaguar. He is the sixth Jaguars kicker to win the award, joining Josh Schobee, Mike Hollis, Josh Lambo, Riley Patterson, and Matthew Wright.

McManus' big game in London helped the Jaguars get back on track with a 23-7 win over the Falcons. It also game a week after McManus missed a field goal and had another field goal blocked, serving as a confidence boost for the special teams unit entering Week 5's contest vs. the Buffalo Bills.

"Yeah, I think everyone was upset last week with what happened. We looked at ourselves in the mirror this week and it was good to get away," McManus said on Sunday. "Anytime you go on trips like this, you get to spend time with each other and play for each other a little harder. I’m just happy to bounce back here and get a win."

"In order to get into the playoffs, you have to win games. This was the next one we could get so we were able to do it and get back on the right foot. It’s good to get some momentum going for us and confidence is a big thing in this league. I’ve just been vocal with that and keep building on it."
