On Sunday, the Jacksonville Jaguars bounced back from their four-game losing streak with a shutout win over the Carolina Panthers. And man, as it needed.

Not only was it needed for this team's confidence as they try to secure a playoff berth next week, seeing as the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts also won, but it was huge for one of their best players. Yes, Trevor Lawrence needed the break after being so banged up.

But, no, I'm not talking about that either. This game was huge for tight end Evan Engram, who just made NFL history on Sunday afternoon. Here is what the Jaguars' PR team tweeted out about Engram's historic day at the office as he etched his name in the history books early in the game:

Evan Engram has recorded two receptions for 14 yards in today's matchup. He is the 8th tight end in NFL history to record 100 receptions in a single season.

And, you can tell that Engram is extremely humble and grateful as well, as seeing what he tweeted out afterward.

My name is up there with the greats, and I'm nowhere near finished! I'm thankful! #BEEAZY

This guy is just special. He moves like a wide receiver in a tight end's body and has the ability to make any catch. The team may not be having the best year offensively, but Engram has had a pretty good year, all things considered.
