Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram is heading to the Pro Bowl.

After being named a Pro Bowl alternate earlier this month, Engram will now join fellow Jacksonville Pro Bowlers Josh Allen and Ross Matiscik in the Pro Bowl. Engram will officially be replacing Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, who will be playing in Super Bowl LVIII.

"Engram is the second tight end in franchise history to be named to the Pro Bowl, joining TE Marcedes Lewis (2010), and the 35th Pro Bowler in franchise history," the Jaguars said in a release.

In 2023, Engram posted 114 receptions for 963 receiving yards and four touchdowns. His 114 catches led all NFL tight ends and he also set franchise records for receptions and receiving yards in a season by a tight end. Engram became the eighth tight end in NFL history and the first tight end in franchise history to eclipse 100 receptions. This is Engram’s second appearance in the Pro Bowl after being named to the team following the 2020 season.

"It means a lot. It means a lot. A lot of work was put in. There were people out there calling me a bust, had all the words in the world for me and my career," Engram said after joining the 100-catch club.

"Just a lot of credit to God and his will for me. The resiliency that I showed in my work and in my craft and the people around me that helped pick me up every single day. The [people] that helped my get better. My teammates, coaches, trainers, family, fiancé, the list goes on. It means the world to me. I do not take it lightly and honestly, I feel like I am going to be here for a while. I feel very blessed to be a part of the greats on that list and I’m going to try and keep joining them."

The 2024 Pro Bowl Games will take place in Orlando beginning on Feb. 1 with Pro Bowl players competing in skills challenges. The Pro Bowl Games are a multi-day AFC vs. NFC competition with skills showdowns and a flag football game played at Camping World Stadium on Feb. 4.
