Jaguars' Trevor Lawrence not expected to miss time with hamstring tightness

It turns out the top pick of the 2021 NFL Draft who is also the highest-rated quarterback prospect to enter the league since Andrew Luck can have a rough day at the office just like anybody else.

According to Michael DiRocco of ESPN, Jacksonville Jaguars rookie signal-caller Trevor Lawrence missed multiple drills during Tuesday's organized team activities because of tightness in his left hamstring.

DiRocco added that the Jaguars are off Wednesday and that Lawrence is expected to be good to go for Thursday. However, the 21-year-old who is the favorite to win Offensive Rookie of the Year honors reminded everybody he won't be perfect while learning on the job, as he tossed a pair of pick-sixes on Tuesday.

Per John Oehser of the club's website, head coach Urban Meyer said several weeks ago that Lawrence "looked great" in rookie minicamp coming off surgery on his non-throwing shoulder (labrum) in February.

Tyler Nettuno of Jaguars Wire noted that Jacksonville opens mandatory minicamp on June 15.
