The Jacksonville Jaguars will be without two of their five starting defensive backs vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 8.

Cornerback Tyson Campbell and safety Andre Cisco are both set to miss the contest with hamstring injuries. The Jaguars will also be without starting wide receiver Zay Jones, who has missed the last several games with a knee injury.

Also inactive as offensive lineman Cole Van Lanen, rookie defensive lineman Tyler Lacy, and outside linebacker Yasir Abdullah.

Cisco has been arguably the Jaguars' best takeaway machine in 2023 and is a huge reason the Jaguars lead the NFL with 16 takeaways. The third-year safety, who left last week's Thursday Night Game with cramps, is tied for the team lead in interceptions with three and also has one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.

Campbell has started six games but has missed the last six quarters with a hamstring injury he sustained in Week 6 vs. the Colts.

“It’s a little interesting. Numbers are one way, interceptions are another way, things of that nature. I think the bottom line is that win-loss column. If you have more points at the end of the game than your opponent, you’ve done something right," Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said on Friday.

"I coached a Super Bowl game a couple of years ago and yards and everything were way out of whack and whatnot. It’s something that you’ve got to be concerned with, pass rush, affecting the quarterback, secondary, injuries, all kinds of things play into a lot of things. A team like New Orleans a week ago, they were in the two-minute situation a lot in the second half there, they were playing hurry-up tempo so everything was a pass. Situation of the game can dictate that as well.”
