Jaguars working remotely after positive COVID-19 test
As the coronavirus sweeps the NFL, teams have begun to work remotely. The New England Patriots and Tennessee Titans have done it, and now one AFC South team is being forced to do it on Saturday.
The Jacksonville Jaguars announced that all football activities will be conducted remotely on Saturday after a practice squad member tested positive for COVID-19.
Jacksonville's game against the Detroit Lions on Sunday still is scheduled to be played.
The Jaguars learned of the positive test result on Friday night, and the team is working with the NFL to contact trace while the positive player is in quarantine.
At this point, the NFL would be smart to extend the season. Multiple teams have experienced positive tests and the league already has had to change up the schedule because of it.
