Jamal Adams makes it known that his ideal destination is Cowboys

New York Jets safety Jamal Adams formally requested a trade on Thursday, and now he's making his ideal destination known.

The Baltimore Ravens, Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks are among the suitors for Adams, though there's one team not listed that appears to be his number one choice.

In a cellphone video posted to Twitter on Sunday, a fan spotted Adams in his Mercedes SUV and, of course, asked him if he was coming to Dallas to which Adams replied "I'm trying, bro."

The Cowboys, like many, are interested in Adams and it's not hard to see why the 24-year-old would like to play for Jerry Jones in Dallas. Adams grew up in the Dallas area and played football at Hebron High School in Carrollton, Texas, which is 31 miles from AT&T Stadium.

Dallas has been interested in Adams for a while now. They first made their interest known at the trade deadline in October, and were even engaged in discussions with the Jets regarding the young safety. Talks fell through, though, and Adams became even more disgruntled with his situation in New York.

The Jets have yet to comment on Adams' trade request, though it appears they have no intention of moving him any time soon.

Adams, a two-time Pro Bowler, is reportedly frustrated with the lack of progress made towards a deal in discussions with the Jets, thus leading to his trade request. He has two years remaining on his current deal, and the Jets don't seem to be interested in extending him until his current contract expires.

The Cowboys could use Adams on defense, though they don't have much cap space. According to reports, Adams wants to play for the Cowboys so badly that he might be willing to scrap extension talks entirely right now.
