The Terminator star and seven-time Mr. Olympia Arnold Schwarzenegger made a guest appearance on the Kelce brothers' latest "New Heights" podcast episode.

And since Schwarzenegger knows a thing or two about working out, Jason took full advantage of the interview and asked for a retirement workout plan.

"I've played my whole career at 295 [pounds], I'm trying to get down to 250, 260," Jason said. "My goal is two pounds every week ... I want to lose it but maintain my muscle mass. And I'm trying to monitor my protein, my carbs, my fats, and make sure I'm hitting at least one pound per body weight... Is this the model?"

Schwarzenegger, a former professional bodybuilder for the majority of his life, shared some tips on how Jason can sculpt the perfect retirement body without overdoing it.

"The most important thing is that you slowly kind of decrease the body fat and increase the body muscle," he explained. "So you just switch. It doesn't have to do just with the weight. Of course you want to lose weight, because it's much healthier and you're much more natural and much faster and you can do more and all that kind of stuff, you're much more energetic. But you want to slowly decrease the fat and increase the muscle mass. That is the key thing. And so with the exercising, and with the machines and the weights, you should be able to do that very easily."

Schwarzenegger pointed out the time when Jason used to lift some "serious weight" (700 pounds), but that he doesn't need to do that anymore -- especially since "he won't be back"  on the football field

"That's the key thing because remember at a certain age you start getting into this wear and tear of the joints, and it's unnecessary because you're not competing," he said. "... I'd rather see you doing 12 to 15 reps an exercise, and doing it as strict as possible, and doing many reps, and many sets, and do it the right way, and to gain the muscle size rather than just torture yourselves and have injuries. That time should be over for you."

That's great advice from one of the most well-respected athletes in the world to another.

And if there's anyone who deserves to take it easy in the gym it's Jason, who religiously put his body on the line for 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles before throwing in the towel.
