Jason Kelce shares how Eagles fans cause 'problems' during home games

Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro center Jason Kelce acknowledged after Sunday's thrilling 37-34 overtime win over the Buffalo Bills that the club's loud supporters can sometimes create issues during home games.

"You know, our stadium, our fans are incredible," Kelce told NBC Sports' Peter King. "But it’s kinda been some of the problems sometimes when we go no-huddle. The fans are revved up. It’s a game! Big game! The fans are really excited and you’re trying to make a play and all of a sudden it’s difficult sometimes to hear the quarterback."

Specifically, Kelce was referencing how he was flagged for false starts twice in four plays during Philadelphia's final offensive drive of regulation that ended with a game-tying 59-yard field goal made by Jake Elliott to force the extra period. Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts ultimately scored a walk-off rushing touchdown to improve Philadelphia to 10-1 on the season ahead of this coming Sunday's showdown with the 8-3 San Francisco 49ers.

The Eagles defeated the 49ers in Philadelphia to win the NFC Championship Game this past January. San Francisco lost signal-caller Brock Purdy to an elbow injury during that contest, but Purdy should be good to go this Sunday.

"I guess it’s surprising that nobody else is up there with us at this point of the season because the disparity between great teams and good teams is less than I’ve seen in my time in the league," Kelce said about the Eagles being the NFL's only 10-win team after 12 weeks of action.

As of early Monday afternoon, oddschecker had the Eagles as 2.5-point underdogs against the 49ers. Interestingly, that same outlet listed the Eagles and 49ers as co-favorites at +450 odds to win Super Bowl LVIII this coming February.

While there's still plenty of football to be played, the upcoming showdown between Philadelphia and San Francisco could be a preview of the next NFC title game.
