Jets-Bills game delayed by damaged Skycam

The New York Jets and Buffalo Bills had to sit through a 15-minute delay in the third quarter of Sunday's game because of an issue with CBS' Skycam.

Not because it wasn't working.

But because it was in danger of falling on the field.

One of the cables holding the camera snapped, causing it to drop down out of position. That was obviously a safety concern and it brought the game to a screeching halt as the crew removed it.

It turned out to be a perfectly timed break for the Bills defense.

And a terrible break for New York.

Following a Jets touchdown at the end of the first half to cut the Bills' lead to 14-10, the Jets were in the middle of another lengthy drive that could have given them the lead. But just a couple of plays after the delay quarterback Zach Wilson was sacked by Von Miller and fumbled the ball back to Buffalo.
