Bryce Huff appears poised for a monstrous payday.

Set to hit the free agent market, the New York Jets' edge rusher says he belongs amongst the NFL's elite. Huff, who signed with the Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2020, was exuding self-confidence while posting to social media on Friday night.

Reposting a video clip of Dallas Cowboys' All-Pro Micah Parsons debating the NFL's Top 5 pass rushers, Huff injected himself into the conversation.

"you can’t name top 5 pure pass rushers in the league without putting my name in that conversation top 3 really.. off straight stats and film," said Huff in an X post.

In a subsequent post, the 25-year-old Huff offered a prediction of what's to come.

"and this is me being humble.. i don’t have the hype behind my name yet for people to truly argue i’m number one just cuz of playing time.. just watch what i do over the course of the next 5-10 years," said Huff through his @Bryce55H account.

There are stats to support Huff's claims. After all, the Memphis product led the Jets with 10.0 sacks despite playing in a rotational role this past season. Huff played 42 percent of the team's defensive snaps and managed 21 quarterback hits in 2023.

Huff, who played on restricted free agent tender ($4.3 million) last year, accounted for a 22.0 percent pass rush win rate according to ESPN, which describes the metric as "how often a pass-rusher is able to beat his block within 2.5 seconds." That mark was eighth overall amongst NFL leaders.

Spotrac estimates Huff's market value at $9.2 million in average annual salary, but that figure seems low compared to the $15 million per year that the Jets gave Carl Lawson in 2021.
