Jets DL Quinnen Williams to miss remainder of season with neck injury

Defensive lineman Quinnen Williams helped the New York Jets earn their first win of the season against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. However, he will not be able to take the field again this season.

The Jets have placed Williams on injured reserve with a neck injury, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. He'll miss New York's final two games against the Cleveland Browns and New England Patriots.

Williams left the win over Los Angeles to be evaluated for a concussion, but he finished the game with one sack, four tackles and one tackle for a loss.

The 23-year-old finishes his second season in New York with seven sacks, 32 solo tackles, two forced fumbles, 10 tackles for a loss and 14 quarterback hits. It was a successful year for the 2019 third-overall pick, and some believe he should've earned a Pro Bowl selection.
