Carter Warren and Max Mitchell have both started games at right tackle for the New York Jets this season, but neither offensive lineman may be available for the team's Week 15 road game against the Miami Dolphins.

Neither Warren nor Mitchell is practicing on Wednesday, according to head coach Robert Saleh.

"Injury wise, Carter Warren, he won't participate today. We'll get more information as the week goes as to his availability. Max will not practice today," said Saleh from the podium in Florham Park.

Warren popped up on the injury report with a hip issue late last week. The fourth-round rookie was listed as questionable to play against Houston but wound up as a gameday inactive. His absence forced Mitchell, who has also filled in at guard this season, back into the starting lineup at right tackle. Jake Hanson, who was signed off the Practice Squad, earned the start at right guard.

Mitchell, a second-year pro, suffered what Saleh reported as a "stinger" during the 30-6 victory over Houston. The right tackle was limited to 44 snaps in the game as veteran Billy Turner came off the bench for the other 24 offensive plays.

The 24-year-old Mitchell has started seven of his 11 appearances this fall. He is one of five different players to earn a start at right tackle for the 2023 Jets. Turner is next in line to man the right tackle spot should Mitchell be unable to go. New York also has tackle Austin Deculus on its 53-man roster after claiming him off waivers from the Texans last month.

The Jets (5-8) will visit the Dolphins (9-4) on Sunday. December 17 at 1:00 pm ET. Official injury reports will be available early Wednesday evening.
