Jets linebacker Jordan Jenkins to undergo shoulder surgery

New York Jets linebacker Jordan Jenkins is headed for surgery.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Jenkins will undergo shoulder surgery next Tuesday. The 26-year-old had been playing with a torn labrum since Week 3. He also dislocated his shoulder before being placed on injured reserve this week.

In 12 games this season, Jenkins has two sacks, 15 solo tackles, one forced fumble, three tackles for a loss and six quarterback hits.

Jenkins has spent his entire five-year career with the Jets. He re-signed with the team for one-year this offseason and will become a free agent at the end of the 2020 campaign.
