While the Jets deal for safety Chuck Clark was announced several days ago, it didn’t become official until this afternoon when the NFL’s new league year started.

Clark was brought on board by Joe Douglas and company in exchange for a 2024 7th-round draft choice.  A versatile defender who saw action at safety, cornerback, slot and linebacker last year figures to be a nice piece to have for Jeff Ulbrich and Robert Saleh in 2024.

A six-year veteran, Clark has appeared in 96 career games (63 starts), amassing 384 tackles,  32 passes defensed and 5 interceptions.
