Jets sign G Laken Tomlinson to three-year, $41.2M deal
San Francisco 49ers free-agent left guard Laken Tomlinson plans to sign a three-year deal with the New York Jets worth $41.2 million, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Monday.
The former first-round pick for the Detroit Lions enjoyed success in San Francisco and stayed healthy during his tenure there. His departure will, without a doubt, leave a hole on where their most durable o-line member once was.
Although Tomlinson is leaving San Francisco, he'll be reuniting with some former Niners personnel in Robert Saleh, Mike LaFleur, and John Benton.
