It wasn't exactly an Aaron Rodgers "R-E-L-A-X" moment, but New York Jets' tight end Tyler Conklin had a similarly themed message to deliver on Monday.

Speaking to reporters in the wake of the Week 10 road loss to Las Vegas, Conklin didn't seem to think the team's current circumstances warrant panic.

"People are acting like it's the end of the world; we're 4-5. Every team has to go on a run to make the playoffs at some point," said Conklin. "Are we gonna sit here and throw in the towel and act like it's the end of the world? Or are we gonna come together as a team?"

The tight end was the Jets' second-leading pass-catcher against the Raiders, totaling 70 yards on seven receptions. WR1 Garrett Wilson went for a game-high 93 yards on nine catches in the 16-12 setback.

With the Jets' offense accounting for only eight touchdowns through nine games, Conklin has yet to reach paydirt this season.

Conklin and the Jets have lost back-to-back games to AFC West foes. Next up for Gang Green, which has not scored a touchdown in the past 11 quarters, is a trip to AFC East rival Buffalo for a 4:25 pm ET kickoff on November 19.

"We got to come together as a team and say, 'Hey, what the hell do we want this offense to be? What do we need to do to fix this offense?'" said Conklin.

The offense has suffered from untimely penalties and poor red zone execution. Against the Raiders, Breece Hall's three-yard touchdown run was nullified due to an offensive holding penalty while the team settled for four field goals.

"Shooting ourselves in the foot was a big thing yesterday, obviously," said Conklin.

It's been almost a full decade since Rodgers's famous "R-E-L-A-X" quote in Green Bay.

"Five letters here just for everybody out there in Packer-land: R-E-L-A-X. Relax. We're going to be OK," said Rodgers after the Packers started the 2014 season with a 1-2 record.

The Packers finished the regular season with a 12-4 record and advanced to the NFC Championship Game.
