Jets WR Elijah Moore posts cryptic tweet after huge win over Packers

Jets wide receiver Elijah Moore composed a strange tweet after New York's 27-10 win over the Packers on Sunday, signaling that he might be unhappy with his usage rate.

The tweet itself was a response to another tweet from ESPN's Rich Cimini, who pointed out that Moore wasn't targeted against the Packers.

A second-round pick in 2021, Moore seemed poised for a breakout season after posting encouraging numbers as a rookie (538 yards and five TD receptions). His production through six games this season (203 yards and zero touchdowns) has been disappointing.

Moore cannot be blamed for his empty stat box on Sunday or his slow start. The Jets loaded up on other offensive weapons over the offseason, including drafting wide receiver Garrett Wilson 10th overall and paying big money for two talented tight ends. Also, the team has emphasized the running game, limiting targets for the receiving corps.

Moore followed up the above tweet with a tweet of support for his teammates. He also noted his happiness that the Jets are doing well.

Jets fans shouldn't worry that this could lead to a locker-room issue. Expect Robert Saleh, a player's coach, to address the issue.
