The San Francisco 49ers have released the list of inactive players for their Week 17 matchup on the road against the Washington Commanders. These seven players will not suit up for the game.

Inactives:

  • QB Brandon Allen
  • DT Arik Armstead (foot, knee)
  • S Ji'Ayir Brown (knee)
  • TE Ross Dwelley (ankle)
  • LB Jalen Graham
  • WR Jauan Jennings (concussion)
  • T Jaylon Moore (concussion)

On Friday, the 49ers ruled out Armstead, Brown, Dwelley, Jennings, and Moore against the Commanders. The team listed four players, guard Aaron Banks (toe), linebacker Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles (illness), running back Jordan Mason (illness), and cornerback Ambry Thomas (knee, hand), as "questionable." All four are active.

Armstead will miss his fourth consecutive game. Brown sustained a knee sprain in last week's loss to the Baltimore Ravens and has not practiced since. Dwelley continues to recover from the high-ankle sprain suffered on December 3, while Jennings and Moore remain in the concussion protocol.

On Saturday, the 49ers elevated two players—safety Erik Harris and wide receiver Tay Martin—from the practice squad, making them available for the game against the Commanders.

Additionally, the team downgraded wide receiver Danny Gray's status from "questionable" to "out." Gray, who remains on the injured reserve list, had his practice window opened on December 27.

On the same day, the 49ers signed defensive tackle Sebastian Joseph-Day to a one-year deal. He is active for the Week 17 matchup.
