The Raiders now call Las Vegas their new home, and as part of Sin City welcoming the NFL team into the fold, a local consortium of car dealerships presented head coach Jon Gruden with an impressive one-of-a-kind vehicle.

As shared on social media this week, Gruden is now the proud owner of a fully customized Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 featuring Raiders iconography and colors.

The fully customized muscle car includes the following bells and whistles, per 8 News Now:

  • Raiders team colors, Iconic Silver with Ebony racing stripes
  • custom Las Vegas Raiders rear spoiler
  • Special piece of inspiration from Raiders legend, Al Davis, in the form of a custom Las Vegas Raiders license that reads “JTWYN”

“That is Henry Ruggs III horsepower right there,” Gruden said. He continued, saying his new GT500 is “the best thing I will ever own, next to my Super Bowl trophy.”

Gruden is correct in his assessment, as the GT500 is the fastest Mustang ever produced, boasting a 745 horsepower engine that can reach a top speed of 186 mph.

It merits noting that there is a business aspect to the gift Gruden received, as the Raiders head coach has a new spokesperson partnership with the Southern Nevada Ford Dealers.

That being said, there’s no doubt Gruden will be instantly recognizable anytime he cruises down the Vegas Strip behind the wheel of this custom ride.
