The Baltimore Ravens are looking to keep their 24-game preseason-game winning streak intact as the head to the Nation’s capital for a Monday night showdown with the Washington Commanders at 8 p.m. ET from FedEx Field.

With several positional battles continuing to take shape, the Ravens will continue to use each opportunity to learn, improve and prepare for the upcoming regular season.

Though a handful of Baltimore’s most notables are expected to garner some attention during this upcoming matchup, here are three players that might raise an eyebrow when the Ravens take the field against the Commanders.

Josh Johnson

With top reserve signal-caller Tyler Huntley sidelined since tweaking his hamstring during last Saturday's preseason opener against the Philadelphia Eagles, Johnson is in line to take the lion’s share of the snaps against Washington on Monday night. It appears that the Ravens are just exercising caution with their backup quarterback in order to avoid a lingering issue. As such, Johnson is likely making his case to remain Baltimore’s third option at the position. He will help his argument by improving off of his 8 for 12, 45-yard performance — which included a seven-yard touchdown toss to receiver Devin Duvernay.

Nelson Agholor

As the Ravens continue their installation of new coordinator Todd Monken’s offense, Agholor is beginning to open some eyes with strong practice performances. When performing at his best, the 30-year-old uses his speed and ability to get open over the top on vertical routes, regularly finding separation from his opponents. While the Ravens will continue to be cautious with their starters and key veterans, Agholor may be in line for some situational opportunities for him to Showcase his abilities — especially with 2022 first-rounder Rashod Bateman continuing to work his way back from a Lisfranc injury,

Kyu Blu Kelly

Currently residing near the depths of the Ravens positional chart at cornerback, Kelly is in need of a standout performance to catch the eye of Baltimore’s defenisve coaching staff. As a former track star, he possesses both the speed and athleticism to remain in step with receivers in coverage. While most proficient in man coverage, Kelly has the ability to play in some Cover 3, as well. He is aggressive at the catch point but could use some improvement in his engagement when playing off-coverage. As such, he has the chance to provide the Ravens with another potentially-explosive playmaker within their secondary. To do so, he will have to significantly outdo his one tackle performance against the Eagles last week.
