The Minnesota Vikings have seen enough from Joshua Dobbs amid an enormous offensive struggle on Sunday.

Dobbs was benched in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game and replaced by Nick Mullens. The move came with the Vikings and Las Vegas Raiders tied 0-0 in the fourth quarter.

Dobbs briefly became a sensation for his leadership of the Vikings despite barely knowing the playbook after a trade from the Arizona Cardinals.

The magic had worn off even before Sunday, as back-to-back poor performances had the Vikings considering a change during the bye week. Ultimately, they stuck by him, but probably regretted it after he went just 10-for-23 for 63 yards in the first three quarters of action.

It is not clear where the Vikings go from here, but one has to imagine Mullens has the job for the moment. They simply cannot go back to Dobbs at this point.
