After three consecutive games with 50+ yards, Cardinals’ rookie Michael Wilson was not targeted until the 4th quarter in Week 5 against the Bengals.

From QB Joshua Dobbs’ perspective, this is something that cannot happen again.

Dobbs told reporters today that he sent a text to Wilson immediately after last Sunday’s loss to let his wide receiver know that getting his 1st reception in the 4th quarter simply cannot happen.

In Week 4, Wilson brought in 76 yards and two touchdowns against an impressive 49ers defense.

Despite the lone reception against Cincinnati, Michael Wilson is still averaging 51 yards per game this season.

Next up for the Cardinals is a matchup against the Rams, who are right around the middle of the pack for every defensive statistic.

Expect Dobbs to find his rookie receiver early and often in this Week 6 matchup.
