Justin Jefferson sets record for most receiving yards by a rookie

Justin Jefferson has more receiving yards than any other rookie in NFL history.

Jefferson also set the Minnesota Vikings' record for most receiving yards by a rookie in a single season on Sunday against the Detroit Lions, breaking the previous record set by Randy Moss in 1998. Moss had 1,313 yards in his rookie campaign, while Jefferson is up to 1,379 yards.

Through three quarters against the Lions, Jefferson had seven receptions for 112 yards.

Before breaking Moss' record, Jefferson honored the Hall of Famer by wearing cleats to recognize his accomplishments as a rookie during warmups.
