The Kansas City Chiefs are heading into this weekend’s AFC Championship game with a few injury concerns to address.

On Wednesday, the team’s injury report highlighted 16 players, and unfortunately, six of them were unable to participate in practice.

Running back Isiah Pacheco, All-Pro guard Joe Thuney, Trey Smith, safety Mike Edwards, and defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi were all sidelined for today’s practice session.

Additionally, backup quarterback Blaine Gabbert, linebacker Willie Gay, and cornerback L’Jarius Sneed were limited in their participation.

There were other players who were also listed with injuries, including cornerbacks Trent McDuffie and Joshua Williams, wide receivers Rashee Rice, Kadarius Toney, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling, offensive linemen Prince Tega Wanogho and Wanya Morris, and defensive end Charles Omenihu.

However, it’s worth noting that all of them were able to fully participate in practice.

As the Chiefs strive to make it to their fourth Super Bowl in five years, they’ll need every player to be ready and in top form. Isiah Pacheco, for one, has expressed his determination to be ready for Sunday’s game, despite missing today’s practice. He’s committed to being prepared when it counts.

This one should be a very good matchup between two loaded rosters. The Chiefs and Ravens are going to put on a show for the fans this weekend.
