If Patrick Mahomes has his way, the hundreds of thousands of fans who turned out Wednesday for the Kansas City Chiefs' Super Bowl victory parade can book their parade day again this time next year.

Toting his SB LVII MVP trophy in one hand and a beer in the other, Mahomes had repeat on his mind.

"I just want to let you all know that this is just the beginning," Mahomes told the crowd in front of Union Station in Kansas City. "We ain't done yet, so I'll make sure to hit y'all back next year and I hope the crowd's the same.

"We're back again. We're back again. Before we started this season, the AFC West said we were rebuilding. I'll be honest with you, I don't know what rebuilding means. In our rebuilding year, we're world champs."

Said Chiefs general manager Brett Veach: "In Kansas City, this is what a rebuilding year looks like right here."

Mahomes led the Chiefs to a 38-35 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, earning their second title in four years.

All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce struck a similar tone.

"The haters were saying that the Chiefs would never make the playoffs. The haters were saying the Chiefs were done. Done," Kelce said. "... Everybody's asking: Is this a dynasty? It's been a dynasty."

Chiefs offensive lineman wore shirts that read "0 sacks" on the front, a reference to holding the Eagles without a sack on Sunday. The Eagles led the league with 70 sacks during the regular season and had eight more in the playoffs - before Sunday.

But on this day, it was all about Kansas City.

"There's some great cities in America," Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said. "But there's no place you'd rather be and no greater place to be than right here, baby. You are the kingdom. And let's give it one for the world. How ‘bout those ...

"CHIEEEEEEEEFS," roared the crowd.
