Kenjon Barner is a name that only a few NFL fans might recognize.

His name doesn’t fly off the charts, and the league’s followers may even have difficulty in naming his position.

For the uninformed, Barner is a running back and a return specialist.

The former Oregon standout was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the sixth round of the 2013 NFL Draft.

Since then, he has also played for the Philadelphia Eagles, New England Patriots, Atlanta Falcons, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

As of the 2021 season, the California native has 416 rushing yards, 152 receiving yards, and 1,679 return yards.

But despite those low numbers, Barner is a lucky guy because of a distinction pointed out by the NFL on CBS’ Twitter account.

While most players find it challenging to win a Super Bowl, Barner has always been at the right place at the right time.

He won three Super Bowls with three different teams.

Coincidentally, all of his victories involved quarterback Tom Brady.

His first championship came at Brady’s expense when the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII.

A year later, Barner teamed up with Brady to win Super Bowl LIII over the Los Angeles Rams.

Finally, he was also a part of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers team that won Super Bowl LV.

Lucky Charm Of The NFL?

Barner has three Super Bowls over the last five seasons.

That’s a high success rate, and teams must consider signing him if they are serious contenders.

They don’t need to play him much if they want to succeed.

What’s important is that he’s wearing his uniform come game day.

NFL players and teams might not necessarily believe in luck.

But Barner’s story is proof that sometimes, the blessings keep on pouring.
