Former Los Angeles Chargers linebacker Kenneth Murray Jr. left for the Tennessee Titans in free agency earlier this week. The Chargers picked Murray in the first round back in 2020, and Murray spent his first four seasons with the Bolts.

However, the writing appeared to be on the wall for Murray's future with the Chargers after the team opted to not pick up his fifth-year option last April, making him a free agent this year. Murray has now signed a two-year deal with the Titans.

After departing from the Chargers, Murray took to Instagram to thank the Chargers organization.

"As my time with the Los Angeles Chargers comes to a close, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible experiences and opportunities I’ve had as part of this organization. Being a Charger has been a privilege, and I am grateful for the friendships, memories, and lessons learned along the way. While saying goodbye is bittersweet, I am excited for the future and the new adventures that await. I will carry the Charger spirit with me wherever I go and cherish the moments spent representing this amazing team. Thank you to the Chargers organization, my teammates, coaches, and fans for an unforgettable journey. Here’s to the next chapter ahead. Bolt up!"

During his career with the Chargers, Murray posted 321 total tackles, five sacks, one forced fumble, two interceptions and ten pass breakups.

With Murray departing and the team releasing Eric Kendricks, the Chargers will now have a hole to fill at the linebacker position.
