It may not come as a surprise, but an Indianapolis Colts player was named the AFC's Defensive Player of the Week.
Colts CB Kenny Moore II is officially the AFC Defensive Player of the Week.
Moore II recorded two interceptions in Week 9; if that wasn't impressive enough, he returned both for touchdowns. He was a true game-changer and deserved this recognition. On top of the turnovers, he had the 2nd most tackles of any Colt and had two pass deflections.
He has three interceptions this season and accumulated 115 yards off those interceptions. Moore II is now 2nd in the NFL in interception yards and 2nd in interception touchdowns, only behind Daron Bland of the Dallas Cowboys. He is also tied for 3rd in the NFL in interceptions.
