The Indianapolis Colts picked up a big win in Week 13, and their pass rush was a big reason why.

Week 13 was especially great for 20221 1st-round pick Kwity Paye, who had his best game as a pass rusher in the NFL.

Paye ended the day with two sacks two forced fumbles and was credited with four pressures and his stellar week led him to receive the highest pass-rush grade of his entire career from Pro Football Focus with a 90.5.

During his NFL career, Paye has had to deal with multiple injuries, which have impacted his ability to put up the stat lines that some fans would like to see out of a first-round edge rusher. But he has been one of the best in the NFL at setting the edge in the run game, and this season, we are seeing his sack production go up as well. Paye has the 2nd most sacks on the Colts this season with 7.5, which is already a career-high. This has him on pace to finish with just under 11 sacks.

Paye has been a big part of helping the Colts have the 2nd most sacks. in the NFL this season with 42, only trailing the Baltimore Ravens, who have 47. With the Colts focusing solely on reaching the postseason, the team's pass rush will need to play a pivotal role in getting there. During their four-game winning streak, they have had 21 of their 42 sacks on the season.
